Lily Lang

Ms Lily Lang has been practicing infection control since 1985. Currently, she oversees the Infection Control in Dental Services for five dental clinics in National Healthcare Group Polyclinics. 
She is one of the expert panels for Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control CSSD Center of Excellence Program since 2014 and serves as a treasurer for Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control and executive member with the Infection Control Association, Singapore. She has been a faculty member in Infection Control Training Course with Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control and Central Sterile Sterilizing Course with Infection Control Association, Singapore. 
She holds an MSc in Healthcare Management from University of Swansea, Wales, BSc in Nursing with Edinburgh Napier and Post graduate diploma in Higher Education.   She received her Infection Control training with APIC in USA, University of Western Sydney, and CDC, Atlanta. She also received outstanding award for her contributions to the field of Infection Control Prevention and Control in Singapore in 2009. Outstanding achievement for BSc in Nursing, Edinburgh Napier. Outstanding performance for Principle of Epidemiology course with CDC Atlanta.  Outstanding oral presentation in 2016 with the 5th International Congress of Infection Control Singapore Association (Singapore) and several improvement projects.  

She pioneered and chaired the Infection Control Chapter in Singapore for 7 years since 1991, co- founding member with Infection Control Association, Singapore and an executive member with Infection Control Association, Singapore.  She was also a cofounder and council member with Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control. 
She contributed in the National Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines for Acute Healthcare Facilities, Singapore, 2017 and The National Infection Control Guidelines for Long-Term Care Facilities, Singapore 2018
With many years of working experience in healthcare and infection control, she has led infection control program for both the private and restructured hospitals, ambulatory services and primary care. Her passion in infection control and teaching gives her many opportunities to teach and provide consultation and assessor in both locally and overseas including Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia Thailand and Vietnam.
