Yee-Chun Chen

Yee-Chun Chen is Professor of Medicine at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine; Director of the Center for Infection Control at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), Chief of Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Internal Medicine, NTUH; Adjunct Investigator and past Acting Director of National Institute of Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology, National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan; Council member of The Infectious Diseases Society of Taiwan and The Infection Control Society of Taiwan; and Vice President, International Society for Human and Animal Mycology. Dr. Chen is one of the nation's leaders in infection control and medical mycology in Taiwan. Her research interests include surveillance of healthcare-associated infection and medical informatics, clinical and molecular epidemiology of invasive fungal diseases. Dr. Chen has received several achievement awards (including Asia Pacific Hand Hygiene Excellent Award in 2011 for NTUH). She has authored or coauthored more than 280 peer-reviewed journal articles.
